durrrrrrrrrrr, five months since an update! Well, we've been busy nonetheless. A while ago we did our first narrative internet collaboration, "dougbertdoug". And we just finished our new kickass film "how to be a spy" for the 48 hour film project. They're both in a totally obvious place on the audio/video page.

Also, we're in the middle of preparations for the soar/dbd "dreambubbles" interactive exhibit at art*bar next month. Everyone in the space that evening will shape the experience and be a crucial component. Don't like it? Do something about it.

[ 02.24.07 ] In April we'll be screening "I Haven't Read a Book in at Least Five Years" at the Boston Visual Music Marathon, part of the Boston Cyberarts Festival. We will be part of a six-hour program of 64 audio-visual artists, with an additional six hours devoted to invited artists, historic works on 16mm film, works provided by two guest curators, and approximately one hour of live video performance art.

[ 02.08.07 ] Added some of the videos/prints/photos from our collaboration with Payton MacDonald. Payton came down to Milwaukee for an enjoyable weekend of marimbey goodness and for donebestdone to sample the crap out of his ass. We are currently "shopping" around a demo of some of the audio / video work from those session so look for us (hopefully) coming to a university near you in 2007. Check out the A/V section for some video clips from some of the pieces he will be performing (audio only) at Carnegie Hall.

[ 01.04.07 ] Added some new prints and a new video as part of project for posisble display at the Minneapolis Public Library. They had a call for submissions to make art work for some display case thing and so we threw together a couple pieces using photos of the library itself.

This award was given to both emerging artists (us) as well as more established artists. The fellowship recipients recieve a $5,000 grant and will have a showcase at the school next fall. For more information head over the article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

We have also have a couple of new projects on the horizon. We have begun collaborating with Payton Macdonald, marimba virtuouso and member of the esteemed avant-garde chamber orchestra Alarm Will Sound. We will be working on a number of pieces for live audio / video / marimba for performance next year.

We have also started a project to remix the NPR interview we did for Four Films called LAKE EFFECT EP. We invite you to make your own remixes and we'll post them on the site. Instead of posting the entire album at once, it will slowly evolve over the coming weeks and months so check back often. For more information head over to the audio/video section.
